INFOS GÉNÉRALES

Marigot est située sur la côte occidentale de l’île de Saint-Martin. Elle s’étend entre la côte, à l’ouest, le long de la baie de Marigot, et les collines de l’intérieur de l’île, à l’est. Au sud-ouest, elle est limitée par le Grand Étang de Simpson bay
Marigot est la plus grande ville de la partie française de l’île de Saint-Martin, dans les Antilles, dont elle est le chef-lieu puisque l’hôtel de la collectivité, la préfecture des « îles du Nord » (constitué par Saint-Martin et Saint-Barthélemy), ainsi que la plupart des administrations et services y sont localisés.

ENGLISH : Marigot is located on the western coast of the island of Saint Martin. It stretches from the coast to the west, along the Marigot Bay and the hills of the interior of the island, to the east. South-west it is bounded by the Great Pond Simpson Bay
Marigot is the largest city in the French part of the island of Saint Martin in the Caribbean, which it is the county seat since the hotel community, the prefecture of the « Northern Islands » (composed by Saint -Martin and Saint-Barthélemy), as well as most government services are located.
