La façade maritime de la commune est formée de deux pointes vallonnées avançant vers la mer, la Pointe Larose au Sud et la Pointe Jean-Claude au Nord. La baie du Robert est protégée par un chapelet de 10 îlets qui font sa réputation et la classe parmi les plus belles de la Caraïbe. Une faune et une flore marine exceptionnelle s’y développent. A voir absolument: les bassins et cascades de Fond Nicolas, les deux églises du Robert et du Vert-Pré, l’îlet Chancel, le plus grand de la Martinique où l’on peut voir encore des iguanes sauvages, les fonds blancs. De nombreuses anses favorisent la croissance d’une mangrove d’une rare beauté. Blotti au fond de sa baie somptueuse aux multiples îlets, lieu d’
expériences dynamiques de pisciculture, le Robert s’est aussi un arrière pays vert et montagneux notamment avec le bourg du Vert-Pré, et le Quartier du Cul-de-sac du Robert. Il n’existe pas de route les reliant et seule la voie maritime permet d’y accéder. La baie du Robert avec ses 10 îlets est le plan d’eau idéal pour la pratique de la plaisance côtière mais aussi pour l’organisation de courses de yoles rondes et de régates.

There is no road connecting them, and the place is only accessible by sea.
