Dans le district de Plaines Wilhems, la Marie est un village au Sud de Glen Park. C’est une région agricole, sur l’aire de Médine. On y trouve un monument à la mémoire de Matthew Flinders.La sucrerie de la Lozia, construite en 1860 est devenue ensuite Alexandra, prit le nom de la Marie en 1871 pour être enfin démolie en 1878.

In the district of Plaines Wilhems, la Marie is a village south of Glen Park. This is an agricultural area, the area of Medina. There is a monument to the memory of Matthew Flinders.
